More Kudos for Kurt!

The National Football League has named Kurt Warner National Football Conference Player of the Week for his performance in a 38-28 victory over the St. Louis Rams. His lifetime quarterback rating at the Edwards Jones Dome is now the highest for any player at any stadium in NFL history.

Froggiegirl treated me to the game with tickets she had won at work. Kurt had a very good day and the Lambs were in full effect (wink wink nudge nudge).

Lots of people in the stands still had #13 jerseys. Interestingly, there were tons of Proehl and Wistrom jerseys out there, too. What does it say when half the fans are wearing numbers for guys who aren't on the team anymore?

Good point. I heard the guys on KFNS talking about Martz the other afternoon. Their point is that since the Rams are going to can Mad Mike as soon as he's given a clean bill of health, why not pull the trigger now and begin the search for a new coach before all the other failing teams are in the hunt as well?

It was pretty funny to see people with rams jerseys on for Warner and also arizona jerseys for Warner too - in the same row at the game!
